Hey Siri, What's My Phone Number?
To make Siri tell you your phone number, set yourself as My Card in Contacts: open Settings › Apps › Contacts › My Info (older iOS: Settings › Contacts › My Info) and tap your own card. Then say “Hey Siri, what’s my phone number?” Siri shows it. Siri often won’t read digits aloud — to just see them, detect your number free below.
Set up My Card so Siri knows your number
- Open Settings.
- On iOS 18 and later tap Apps › Contacts › My Info; on older iOS tap Contacts › My Info.
- Tap your own contact card so it becomes “My Card.” If your card has no number, add it first in the Phone app under Contacts.
- Now ask “Hey Siri, what’s my phone number?”
Siri reads My Card to answer questions about “me,” so if the card is empty or points at the wrong contact, Siri can’t help.
Why won't Siri tell me my phone number?
If Siri says “I don’t have a phone number for you” or “I don’t know who you are,” your My Card isn’t set or has no number on it — fix that with the steps above. Even when it’s set, Siri often shows the number on screen rather than speaking the digits, and on a brand-new SIM the card may simply be empty. When that happens, read it straight from Settings or use the detector below.
Find your number without Siri
The most reliable place is Settings › Phone, where your number sits at the top under My Number. You can also open the Phone app › Contacts and look at your card at the very top. On a dual-SIM iPhone, each line shows its own number under Settings › Cellular.
See it instantly with the free tool
If My Number is blank — common right after activating an eSIM or moving a SIM — tap Detect below and call the free test number. Your number appears on screen, no app or sign-up needed, even when nothing is stored on the device.
Frequently asked questions
How do I get Siri to say my phone number?
Set yourself as My Card: Settings › Apps › Contacts › My Info (older iOS: Settings › Contacts › My Info), tap your card, and make sure it has your number. Then ask "Hey Siri, what's my phone number?"
Why does Siri say "I don't have a phone number for you"?
Your My Card isn't set or has no number on it. Add your number to your own contact card and select it as My Info in Settings. If it's still blank after a new SIM, read it from Settings › Phone or use the detector.
Will Siri read my number out loud?
Often not — Siri tends to display the number rather than speak each digit. To see it clearly, open Settings › Phone › My Number, or detect it with our free tool.
What's the fastest way to find my iPhone number?
Settings › Phone shows it at the top under My Number. If that's empty, tap Detect on this page to read your number off a live call instantly.
