How to check your own number on Teletalk
To check your own Teletalk number, open your phone dialer and dial *551# — it's free and your number shows on screen (or arrives by text). Or detect it automatically.
On iPhone, tap-to-dial may not run USSD codes automatically — copy the code and dial it manually if it doesn't open the keypad.
Step by step
- Open the phone dialer. Open the dialer/keypad app on your phone.
- Enter the code. Type *551# exactly as shown.
- Press call. Press the call button — it is free.
- Read your number. Your phone number appears on screen (or arrives by text).

If that doesn't work
Send an SMS with P to 154, or open Settings → About phone → SIM status.

What your Bangladesh number looks like
A Bangladesh mobile number is mobiles start 01 (11 digits national), written +880 1XXX XXXXXX — for example 01712 345678 / +880 1712 345678. If what you see doesn't match that, you may be reading a different field (such as the ICCID/SIM serial) rather than your number — re-check with the method above.
